# Method:
01 - Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's guidelines.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly blended.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
04 - Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined, allowing some lumps to remain. Avoid overmixing.
05 - Lightly grease the waffle iron. Pour approximately ½ cup batter per waffle onto the hot iron. Cook until golden and crisp, approximately 4 to 5 minutes per batch.
06 - Remove waffles from iron and cut each round into quarters.
07 - In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. Stir in maple syrup and heat gently for about 2 minutes until warm. Transfer to a serving bowl.
